EU’s Mogherini: EU supports Iran nuclear deal, wants to avoid escalation

Reuters reports the latest comments by the European Union’s (EU) Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini, delivered ahead of a meeting with the foreign ministers of Britain, France and Germany, who are signatories to the Iranian nuclear deal.

She said: “We will continue to support it (Iran deal) as much as we can with all our instruments and all our political will.”

However, she called on its rival powers to avoid any further escalation over the issue.

Last week, the EU rejected any ultimatums after Iran's move on a nuclear deal.
