Labour's McDonnell: Government hasn't shown any changes in language on customs union

The UK opposition Labour Party's John McDonnell was out with some comments in the last hour saying that the government hasn't moved on customs union and there haven’t been sufficient discussion talks on alignment with the single market. Customs union will be the first item on today's agenda. The second referendum is also on the agenda, McDonnell added further.

The comments triggered some weakness around the British Pound and dragged the GBP/USD pair to fresh session lows, just below mid-1.3000s.
