Eurozone flash CPI steadies in January, core CPI ticks lower

According to Eurostat’s flash reading of Eurozone CPI report, the annual reading steadied at 1.4% in January, surprising markets to the upside. Meanwhile, the core figures dropped to 0.9% in the reported month, missing expectations of a 1.0% reading and 1.1% last.
