Reassessment of ECB policy not warranted now – ECB’s Constancio

ECB’s Vice President Vitor Constancio said on Monday that a reassessment of the European Central Bank’s policy is not warranted now. His comments fell in line with President Draghi’s appreciations made last week.

Constancio also added the ECB stands ready to react to downside shocks, while there is low risk of real estate bubbles.

He said that the recovery of headline inflation rate was disappointing so far and that more effort is needed to solve the problem of non-performing loans.
