US: Retail Sales up 0.2% in July

FXstreet.com (Edinburgh) - The Commerce Department has informed that US retail sales have expanded 0.2% MoM during July. Ex autos, sales have also advanced 0.5%. Both prints have improved previous 0.4% and 0.1% (revised), respectively.

USD/CHF breaks above 0.9300

The USD/CHF rose to fresh daily highs at the beginning of the New York session after data showed US retail sales grew slightly below expectations in July.
