NZD/USD finds support at 0.7510

FXStreet (Córdoba) - NZD/USD trimmed losses after Wall Street opening bell favored by a retreat of the US dollar across the board.

NZD/USD rebounds

The pair approached to 0.7600 during the Asian session but then reversed and turned to the downside. It bottomed at 0.7515, a 2-day low, and rebounded. Recently reached 0.7556 and it was trading at 0.7535/40, down 0.35% for the day.

The kiwi is consolidating modest weekly losses against the US dollar as it remains unable to hold above 0.7600 and continues to move with a sideways bias in the short term. During the week the pair peaked on Monday at 0.7624 and bottomed on Wednesday at 0.7481.

Time for next leg down in EUR/USD – Danske

With FOMC Minutes suggesting a Fed hike remains on the cards in this year, and US economy expected to improve, the Danske Bank Research Team expects EUR/USD to head towards parity in the coming months.
