NZD/USD recovers from 1-week lows

FXStreet (Córdoba) - NZD/USD weakened during the Asian session amid a decline in the price of commodities but then stabilized and on European hours erased losses.

The pair bottomed at 0.7689, reaching the lowest price since January 6 and then rose quickly back above 0.7700. Recently climbed to 0.7745, slightly below daily highs and currently trades at 0.7735, around the same price it closed yesterday.

NZD/USD technical levels

To the upside resistance could be located at 0.7745/50 (daily high), 0.7760 and 0.7800 (Jan 13 high). On the opposite direction support might lie at 0.7720 (intraday level), 0.7685/90 (daily low) and 0.7660.

Drop in commodities hurts FTSE

The London’s Ftse index fell today as a drop in commodity prices to multi-year lows pushed mining stocks lower.
