USD/CHF breaks above 0.9300
FXStreet (Córdoba) - Greenback hit fresh highs against European currencies during the American session and it was having the best day in years. The USD/CHF has risen more than a hundred pips since the ECB announced a rate cut. Price peaked at 0.9329 and then pulled back modestly but remained above 0.9300.
Today’s gains are the highest so far in years for the USD/CHF that is headed toward the strongest daily close since September of last year. On Asian hours it was trading below 0.9200.
USD/CHF levels to consider
To the upside, the immediate resistance could be located around the 0.9330, around daily highs and above here at 0.9345 and 0.9380. Corrective moves could find initial support around 0.9300 and below here at 0.9270 (intraday level) and 0.9210 (September 2 high).
